About Us
BlakeSt is your home away from home.
Inside these walls, a work day can feel like a holiday, and chance encounters lead to genuine connection. The House comes to life when Members make themselves at home, gather around a table, sweat it out together, or raise a glass to one another.
We’ve built this community around one central belief:
We go farther, together.
Read a bit more about us below.

What we refer to now as “the House” at 301 NE Blake Street was originally home to a late 1880s estate owned by Thomas Taylor Blake and his wife, Bertha. The homestead was built on Lot 7, which was one of the 166 original Bentonville town lots in 1836-37, according to Monte Harris of the Rogers Historical Museum.
The farmhouse was rebuilt in 2018 to make an old truth new again: greater change comes when we work together. But the House is more than a beautiful space — to our Members, it’s a second home.

Community
Our culture has few roofs that shelter thinkers, athletes, artists, and parents (and even fewer entities that recognize those could all be one person). We’re missing places that encourage experts and beginners alike to play lightly with ideas — between reps or between the next round of drinks.
At our dinner table or in our pool, in the library or in a yoga class, you find neighbors, new friends, experts from other walks of life, and hosts ready to lend a hand. To join BlakeSt is to join a crew founded on the principle that we go farther together.
The Greater Good
Whether spinning a record or spinning on a bike, we recognize our potential as a catalyst for the community. With diverse Members from all kinds of backgrounds, chance encounters within these walls often have a ripple effect. Contributions made here have the power to extend beyond the House walls.
Personal Best
Good health, clarity of mind, and community are foundational human needs. Mind, body, and soul must equally thrive to embody our fullest potential. At BlakeSt, we believe in a holistic approach to wellness. We place equal importance on physical, mental, emotional, and intellectual well-being — for you and your neighbor. We seek to help our Members create a balanced space for wellness in their lives — something we call personal best.
-
BlakeSt encourages Members from all different backgrounds to join and look for shared common ground:
1) Exhibit a willingness to ‘play lightly with ideas,’ keeping an open mind and suspending judgment
2) Share a desire to pursue their personal best — not perfection — and recognize the honor of such a pursuit in others
3) Actively engage, or desire to be engaged, in their community
4) Foster the mutual trust and friendship inherent in good camaraderie
5) Value equality and stand against racism, hate, and social injustice
