Backyard Bash

Saturday evening, June 10, Members and guests gathered for a grand-opening celebration of our new outdoor Mediterranean-inspired bar, Ria!

Calle Soul, featuring vocalists from Duo Divinas, cranked up a lively session of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cumbia. Following the prompts of local Latina dance instructor, Claudia, from En Fuego Dance Fitness, dancers lined up poolside to learn step patterns of these timeless, fun Latin dance styles.

Ria guests enjoyed newly-crafted cocktails inspired by more locally-known Mediterranean flavors like Mestiha, a liqueur sourced from piney-scented plant resin, featured in our new “Greek Lemonade.” The Frosé, our House Member favorite, is a boozy, adult icy slush made from vodka, Rosé, watermelon and strawberry. So refreshing!
