VALUES

Community

Our culture has few roofs that shelter thinkers, athletes, artists, and parents (and even fewer entities that recognize those could all be one person). We’re missing places that encourage experts and beginners alike to play lightly with ideas — between reps or between the next round of drinks.

At our dinner table or in our pool, in the library or in a yoga class, you find neighbors, new friends, experts from other walks of life, and hosts ready to lend a hand. To join BlakeSt is to join a crew founded on the principle that we go farther together.

The Greater Good

Whether spinning a record or spinning on a bike, we recognize our potential as a catalyst for the community. With diverse Members from all kinds of backgrounds, chance encounters within these walls often have a ripple effect. Contributions made here have the power to extend beyond the House walls.

Personal Best

Good health, clarity of mind, and community are foundational human needs. Mind, body, and soul must equally thrive to embody our fullest potential. At BlakeSt, we believe in a holistic approach to wellness. We place equal importance on physical, mental, emotional, and intellectual well-being — for you and your neighbor. We seek to help our Members create a balanced space for wellness in their lives — something we call personal best.

COMMUNITY NORMS

BlakeSt encourages Members from all different backgrounds to join and look for shared common ground:

1) Exhibit a willingness to ‘play lightly with ideas,’ keeping an open mind and suspending judgment

2) Share a desire to pursue their personal best — not perfection — and recognize the honor of such a pursuit in others

3) Actively engage, or desire to be engaged, in their community

4) Foster the mutual trust and friendship inherent in good camaraderie

5) Value equality and stand against racism, hate, and social injustice

PRIVACY

BlakeSt is a private space, so we ask our Members and their guests to be courteous and conscious of the privacy of others. The use of cameras, video, and audio recordings that include other Members or guests is discouraged. Please treat what you hear at BlakeSt as private and confidential. View our privacy policy.

AGE POLICY

Guests must be at least 21 years old from Monday to Saturday. All ages are welcome on Sunday (see "Family Sundays"). No children are allowed at any other time unless noted.

FAMILY SUNDAYS

Members may bring guests of any age to the Restaurant on Sundays to enjoy Brunch or Dinner. Members must make a dining reservation to attend with children. Children are not allowed in the Wellness spaces, pool, or second-floor lounges.

ACCESS

Members will be issued a digital key, which only provides access to the building during operating hours. All Members should scan their access card to open the door and then again at the desk to check in. Members and guests of Members must enter through the front door only. A physical barcode keychain can be assigned per request.

BEHAVIOR

We love having energetic and spirited Members and simply ask that you are mindful of the activities of others. You are also responsible for the activities and actions of your guests. We reserve the right to ask your guest to leave and your Membership may itself be revoked if necessary.

BlakeSt is here to foster connections between people. If you haven't already developed a real relationship with someone, please don't pitch them on your project. We will not tolerate any solicitation by one Member to another for their own personal benefit or professional advancement. If you feel that a Member has violated this, please contact the Community Team.

NO SMOKING

BlakeSt upholds a 100% no smoking policy at all times.

GUESTS

Guests must be 21+ and must agree to follow the Rules of the House. Members are responsible for their guests' behavior and will be liable for their time spent at the house. Please register all your guests with the Community Desk. Guests must be accompanied by a Member at all times, and they may not access the house without a Member present. When Members leave the House, their guests must leave with them. Events and programs each have different guest policies which will be described in each individual event copy.

Members may invite up to three guests at a time to enjoy the lounges, restaurant, and bars. The Wellness Spaces, including the pool, gym, studio, hot tub, and locker rooms are for Members only, and therefore guests of Members may not access those spaces without a daily Wellness Pass.

Wellness Pass
Guests of Members who wish to use the Wellness Facilities are invited to purchase a Wellness Pass, which includes access to all Wellness Facilities. Passes are $40 per day and may be purchased at the Community Desk.

Treatment Pass
All Wellness Treatments, with the exception of Waxing Services, are inclusive of a Wellness Pass. Treatments may be booked at the Community Desk, the Member App, or by calling 479-715-0160.

EXTENDED GUESTS LISTS

If a Member wishes to bring more than three guests to BlakeSt, they must gain authorization by emailing communityteam@blakest.com at least 12 hours ahead of the visit. Extended guests lists will be authorized based on business levels and at management discretion. If a Member attempts to access the House with more than three guests and without having gained prior authorization for an extended guest list, they will not be allowed to access with all their guests.

TECHNOLOGY POLICY

To ensure a welcoming atmosphere and the privacy of our Members while in the house, phone calls and video calls are not permitted on the second floor of BlakeSt, nor in the locker rooms.

Our no-screen time begins at 5:30 PM daily around the house. We encourage you to use this time to put away work, strike up a conversation, and enjoy the evening with one another. You can use a screen in the Library at any time, whereas the Restaurant and Ko’a are no-screen zones at all times.

BlakeSt reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol to Members and guests that appear to be intoxicated and shall comply with all local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations. No alcoholic beverages may be removed from the premises of BlakeSt.
